Chris arrives to help with the feral cats 2 to 3 evenings a week as well as bringing treats for all the other barn critters! Chris has been feeding his own feral colony for almost 20 years. He and head foster, Joyce Stafos, are helping build and design a new larger feral enclosure with outside and inside cat trees and a waterfall .
We all feel the ferals are the forgotten cats of rescue.
Our new facility will help us assist other rescues and shelters have somewhere to go with their ferals so they can be released where they are safe after they are neutered and spayed.
Some of the ferals are here forever others go on 3-5 kitties at a time to Barns , horse stables and dairy farms . These places are wonderful for this type of cat .
We do ask for a donation when taking in feral cats and always need dry cat food .
